A new model is making its official debut, and it's one of the most powerful Nissan racers we've ever seen. The 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo is a car that's outfitted by the respected Nismo company and designed after the brand's 2013 Nurburgring 24- hour racer.
The very special model comes with a hefty dose of power, at 600-hp and more than 480 lb.-ft. of torque. That’s an increase of about 55-hp and 35 lb.-ft. of torque versus the standard model. Maximum power has also increased from 6400rpm to 6800rpm.
Inside, the racer comes with a unique steering wheel design and small, red stitching across its seats and other trim elements. Drivers have the ability to track their on-track performance thanks to the advanced performance telemetry system.
The Nissan GT-R Nismo will make its way to Europe, Japan and U.S. dealerships, such as the Marc Motors Nissan dealership in Portland, MA sometime next year, so be sure to stay tuned for more updates.
